The Tipperary Gravel & Pebble Holding Dust does at it says on the tin!
It stops the decorative pebble or chippings from moving!
This allows the free movement of bicycles, wheelchairs, pushchairs, buggys etc without the usual sinking. It is really quite simple. We recommend particularly on footpaths or driveways a 50 / 50 mix of the holding dust and the decorative gravel. In plain English 1 bag of holding dust to 1 bag of decorative gravel. Hence if for example the area of the path was 1m wide x 27m long? You would spread the bulk bag of Tipperary Gravel & Pebble Holding Dust over the entire 27 m2. There should be no sign of the black limestone 804 commonly used as a sub base. Then spread the 14mm Decorative Chipping or pebble over the dust, ideally it should be damp ( generally not a problem in Ireland ). Once applied then roll it in to the dust using a Roller / Compactor from your local Hire Shop. The result should be a compacted gravel path or driveway with very little loose gravel!
