The Plum Slate Mulch 1.5" available from We Sell Stone. Com is not only a very practical & useful product but also very attractive. If you live on a Coastal or windy site, bark mulch is not an option as it blows all over the place and then gets caught up in lawn lowers etc. This is where the plum slate is great! Also for animal lovers , bark mulch attracts animals to do their poo etc which is not the case with plum slate. The larger size ( 1.5 inch ) sits really well on a flower bed and provides an ideal contrast in size to the 14mm gravels used on driveways etc. Plum Slate is widely used in public areas also with local authorities embracing the low maintenance advantages.
We recommend the use of our Mypex weed barrier under the plum slate.
